Thankfully, we’ve tracked down some of the best screen protectors out there that should keep your Infinity Display looking infinitely slick for infinitely longer (seriously, some of these protectors have a lifetime warranty). We’ve rounded up tempered glass, film and even “liquid glass” coating options. Many of these are case-friendly too, so check out our list of best cases for the Galaxy S9 if you’re looking for all-round protection. If you’re shopping for a Galaxy S9, we’ve done the hard work of making a list of the best Samsung Galaxy S9 deals on now (you’re welcome). We’re usually raving about Olixar’s case lineup, but it turns out its screen protectors are just as effective.  This tempered glass design provides unbeatable protection for your screen, while the black trim compleements the existing design on the front of the phone. The curved infinity display is fully covered here, yet at just 0.33mm you’ll hardly notice it’s there.  One thing to note with this case is that it probably won’t be compatible with many cases on the market, but we feel it’s a small price to pay for such excellent protection for the most cherished part of your phone.  You can buy it now for £11.99/ US$12.49.

ESR’s screen protector has been custom-designed for the Galaxy S9, with enough space left to fit the majority of cases for complete, all-round protection. The protector itself is designed to withstand up to 11lbs of force, while the surface has been engineered to an excellent 9H hardness. The Oleophobic coating means it won’t show up fingerprints, creating a 0.33mm barrier over the screen. This means there will be next to no effect on the responsiveness of the device, particularly if you adjust the device’s touch sensitivity settings as recommended.  You can buy it now for £8.99/ US$10.99.

The Dome Glass screen protector from Whitestone is the most high-tech solution to keeping your S9’s screen scratch and damage-free. It uses a tempered glass system that goes on top of a “liquid glass” coating. The liquid glass is cured onto your phone screen using a rechargeable UV light device (included in the box). Curing the liquid glass solidifies the coating into a protective shield and also fills in existing scuffs and scratches. The installation process takes some time and there are a few steps. There is an instructional video available, however, which the manufacturers advise to watch twice before starting. The Dome Glass comes with everything you would need for the installation process, including an alcohol cleaner, cleaning cloth, a plastic installation tray and masking tape to cover up the speakers when applying the liquid glass.

The protector comes with a plastic installation tray so the protector aligns properly with the phone. amFilm promises its Dot Matrix technology will reduce air bubbles and the halo effect – which is when the edge of the protector doesn’t make full contact with the screen; the resulting gap leaves a visible border around the edge of the screen.

The Klearlook screen protector is ultra thin at 0.16mm, so it barely feels as though there is is a protector on your S9. It promises protection against scratches and scuffs and uses a “wet-apply” application technique.  To install the protector you need to spray a liquid (included) and peel off the protective film on the screen guard. Next, spray the adhesive side of the protector as well as your S9’s screen. This helps you slide the protector to the right position on your S9 before you set it in place using the provided squeegee, which remove air bubbles.

Alinsea’s screen protector for the S9 is compatible with most cases. It’s a scratch-resistant plastic film protector instead of a curved glass solution, but equally, it promises to cover the S9 edge-to-edge. Alinsea promises that if you do see any bubbles after application, it should disappear within 24 hours. It comes in a pack of two and a lifetime replacement warranty.

Spigen is a brand that produces durable and reliable phone cases, so it only makes sense that it offer screen protectors to its phone accessory ecosystem. The Neoflex screen protector for the S9 isn’t tempered glass, but a film like some of the other options here, that covers the entire screen and edges using a wet application technique. You’ll have to wait for the film to fully take to the screen without any bubbles, which may take a few days though Spigen says it should only take 12 hours – after the wait, you should get the HD clarity the brand promises.

G-Colour’s tempered glass screen protector sticks onto your Galaxy S9’s screen using an adhesive. It covers the screen’s curved edge while also leaving room to add a phone case, though it may not fit if your case is particularly tight. The scratch-resistant tempered glass has a 9H hardness rating and even comes with a hassle-free replacement and return warranty should you run into any problems. It’s available for both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at the same price in the UK. In the US the S9 version costs $15.99 while the S9 Plus version costs $11.99.

Mascheri’s tempered glass screen protector for the Galaxy S9 comes with an alignment frame to help with the application. The brand does recommend turning up the phone’s touch sensitivity with use however. The Mascheri protector promises 99.9% transparency to allow a seamless experience, along with fingerprint reduction – plus you get a lifetime replacement warranty. Currently it’s only available in the UK for £8.99, with the S9 Plus version costing £7.99.
