Steps to install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy M10
Install ADB drivers on your computer. Copy the downloaded twrp.img file to the location C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder (where you’ve installed the ADB drivers). Then you’ll find the below files in the ADB folder:
Connect your device to the PC via USB cable. On your PC, go to C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder, hold the Shift button, and right mouse click on space. You’ll see a list of options from which select the Open command window here option. This will open the cmd window as shown below.
Type the below command in the cmd window and hit enter:
adb devices
As soon as you press enter, a message saying ‘List of devices attached’ will show. This will confirm that your M10 is successfully connected to the PC.
If such a thing doesn’t happen, then re-install Samsung USB drivers or ADB drivers.
Enter the below command to boot Galaxy M10 into fastboot mode.
adb reboot bootloader
To confirm whether fastboot is functional or not, enter the following command:
fastboot devices

Steps to install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy M10
Download both the files on your PC. Power off your phone. Then boot it into downloading mode. To do so, press and hold the Power button+ Volume down button simultaneously. After that, connect your phone to the PC using a USB cable. On your PC, launch the downloaded Odin flash tool.
In Odin, the ID: COM section will turn blue. Also, an Added message will show. This will confirm that your Galaxy M10 is successfully connected to the PC.
If such a thing doesn’t happen, then again install the Samsung USB driver as well as the ADB drivers. If the problem persists, change the USB cable or the USB port. Moreover, tick the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options.
Do not tick Re-partition, Nand Erase, or any other options. Just tap on the AP button and select the downloaded TWRP recovery.tar.md5 file.
