Delta has been developed for several platforms including Windows, macOS and Linux, as well as the mobile platforms of iOS and Android. It comes with a wide array of useful features and a very slick interface which makes it very easy to use. It is also updated regularly, with update 1.7 released just a week ago. The app is free to use, with the Pro version being available for £5.99 per month adding some additional features – including the ability to track multiple portfolios, sync the app to multiple exchanges and up to 5 devices. We’ve put together a quick how to guide to get you started, explaining each feature as we go – the app is very intuitive so it shouldn’t take you long to get to grips with it. You can download the app on the Delta website or in the app store. Check out our list of cryptocurrencies to watch in 2018.
How to track your cryptocurrency with Delta
Portfolio Tracker
The app features a portfolio overview tracker on its main screen, which gives you the current value of your portfolio at a glance, as well as breaking it down by coin.
Adding a new coin to your portfolio is simple, just hitting the “+” symbol on the portfolio screen brings you to the screen below, where you can add a manual transaction from the pre-set list of over 2000 altcoins.
Alternatively, you can pull data directly from an exchange so the app will track your trades automatically.
There are obviously some security concerns with this, but the Delta app will store your read-only API keys on your phone and never send them to their servers, showing that your privacy is very much at the front of the developer’s mind.
Watchlist
Although a relatively simple feature, this is still a valuable asset, as you can add coins to this list and track a wide array of coins at a glance.
Tapping any of these coins will bring up their market information.
At the top, you can open up the transactions tab to see your own personal trades with the coin, along with an Alerts feature that will warn you when your coin of choice goes above or below a certain price threshold.
Markets
A new feature in 1.7 that was released less than a week ago is the Markets tab. This allows you to view the entire crypto market at a glance. This was a heavily requested feature by the community that the developers were very quick to add.
The app is under continuous development, and has been received extremely positively by the wider cryptocurrency community. For anyone who wishes to track the movements of their cryptocurrencies, or even just be able to have access to market information from their phone, this app does it beautifully. The software is slick, pleasant to look at and navigate, lightweight and informative. It also offers a range of customisation and security options so you can tailor it to your liking. If you’re looking for an application to track your cryptocurrencies, then you really have to look no further.
